You might recognize this family…or at least this nursery. You probably followed along with their story while little Crosby was in the NICU and The Nursery Project was creating a special place for him to call home. As you can see, Crosby is home and is so big now! The rest of the family is doing awesome (in between yawns from newborn sleep deprivation of course).
Shawn, Allie, Hayes, and Crosby have been through a lot this year. They’ve experienced great loss and at the same time one of life’s greatest joys. Allie carries herself with a gentle spirit, which is a trait I always wish I could emulate. Shawn is an encourager, always connecting with the person in front of him. I admire their strength, their character, and the smiles that they wear day in and day out.
This morning was Allie’s birthday and allowed me to come celebrate by documenting their family. These images are special because their boys are growing quickly, and the photos will allow them to always remember this phase of life. The stage with tiny little hands, late nights and early mornings, choo choo trains, couch snuggles, and Hayes’ answer to every question… “nope.”
