Before you move on and lose all of your Christmas warm fuzzies, I have one last beautiful story for you! Honestly, I won’t share too much because Jarrod and Faith do such a good job of sharing the ups and downs of their journey.
These two had been married for 7 years and for the last 6 years they had wanted to start a family. They had ongoing fertility issues trying doctors and treatments, sharing times of hope and times of fear and worry. When they still did not get pregnant they could not figure out why! They wanted to be parents so badly, why wasn’t God giving them a child? It was once they shifted their plan to adoption that everything began to fall into place. Multiple times during this journey, God made it clear that He was in control and His plan was good.
I talked with Faith in September when they were in that waiting period. Waiting for the baby to be born, waiting to be certain they would be a mommy + daddy, and waiting for those final papers to be signed an official. I remember being amazed at her faith. Instead of being fearful, she was firm in trusting that God’s plan was good. Make yourself some coffee and give this story a listen. Just a warning though…you may also want to grab some tissues.
